We held our annual Harry Potter night on Thursday 13th February this year so we didn't clash with Waterstones events in town. We had over 70 primary school students in year 5&6 attend and they had a truly muggle-tastic time. With a House quiz to kick things off in the great hall, followed by planting clay Mandrakes, decorating cakes like Hedwig, investigating maths to solve puzzles to escape a curse with UV lights, decoding latin spells and creating mini broomsticks and peg bookmarks - all in all it was wonderful. We are now busy printing off the Azkaban photo's from the photobooth to mail to primary schools after half term. We can't wait for next year - what will our professors run for you next time?
