Intent: Introduce students to think about self awareness

• Concentration on the development of self-perception and self-confidence

• Working with others and understanding one's own aptitudes

• Support the development of self-awareness

• Making use of opportunities to learn and to participate - through the Pastoral programme and the use of student self-organisation tools

• Life lessons looking at self and opportunity awareness

• One module of careers lessons in an academic year.

• Activities for National Careers Week and National Apprenticeship Week.

Noncompulsory options for all students

• Use of Careers Zone during school hours

• Making an appointment with the Careers Co-ordinator
