Cross Country Success
In December, 4 Pembroke runners performed excellently in the Lincoln and Gainsborough Cross Country championships and made it to the next round of the competition.
On 15th january, they all went to compete in the Lincolnshire County Cross Country Championships at a very foggy and cold Burghley House, Stamford. All 4 boys ran outstanding races and represented us so well. The top 12 runners from each race qualify for the Anglian Regional round, with the top 6 automatically taking up places in the National finals! We can be proud to say we have 3 runners from Pembroke going to compete in the National Cross Country Championship finals down in Kent in a few months time.
Finnian Phillipson 6th (Qualifies for the Regional finals and the National finals in)
Asher Phillipson 9th (Qualifies for the Regonal finals and will have a chance to qualify for the final 2 National places at the Anglian round in Suffolk next month)
Oliver Cooney 2nd (Qualifies for the Regional finals and the National finals)
Matthew Kent 4th (Qualifies for the Regional finals and the National finals)
Amazing performance boys!
