Bushcraft Residential
On Wednesday 25th May, 60+ year 7 and 8 students left for Boughton Woods, near Rockingham for a Bushcraft experience. After arriving at the safari-style tented camp, the students became fully enveloped in the wilderness, sleeping under the stars, and cooking over open fires. Away from screens and technology, the activities encourage team building and give the students the chance to develop new skills and interact with their friends in a fun, creative environment. After gutting salmon, building dens, setting traps and taking part in the infamous bush tucker trails; they will all be ready for their beds when they return on Friday. They have all had a brilliant outdoor experience and we look forward to offering the same trip to students again next year.
