This week we would like to introduce to you our new Assistant Headteacher and Head of Mathematics - Mr Warnock.

Mr Warnock is a highly experienced pracitioner and joins us with years of leadership experience under his belt. Over the past two weeks Mr Warnock says he feels right at home with us here at Pembroke and is really enjoying working with the students. He is working hard alongside our established Maths department to instill confidence in year 11 as they continue their journey towards their real GCSE examinations. Maths lessons are now focussing on the results of mock exam question analysis and are being taught in larger groups in our learning resource centre; whereby all 3 maths teachers can support year 11 and inspire them to apply their maths learning to the challenge of the new GCSE style questions. Keep up the hard work year 11 you are doing great and we are very proud of you in all your subject areas.
