Who's Who...

LGB Members:

Members of The Priory Pembroke Academy Governing Committee come from a wide variety of different backgrounds.  Below you will find a short biography of each of our Governors.

Chair Designate - Mr T Dawson

I’m very proud to be a member of the Priory Pembroke Governing Body. The school is an exciting and important part of our communities, and I’m pleased to support the aim of ‘Achieving Together’. I believe in the power of education to help people live up to their full potential, and I’d like all of our school to share that experience.

I have previously served on the Governing Body of three primary schools and a teaching school alliance for eight years and was their Chair of Governors for five years.

In my professional life, I have worked in the public sector for over 20 years, and currently work in Strategy, Corporate Services and Audit & Compliance.

I’m looking forward to working with the staff of Priory Pembroke at such an exciting time for the school. I will give them my support, and make sure that I am asking them the right questions at the right time to help them achieve excellence.

Mrs C Hime

I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to become a part of The Priory Pembroke Academy community in the role of Governor.  I have already found that the school has an infectious energy and strength.  I have twenty years of experience in the public sector in a range of roles and I am keen to use this in any way I can to support the ongoing journey of the school.   I am passionate about education and investment in our young people to achieve their full potential, whilst maintaining and promoting happiness and wellbeing.

Mrs E Zacher

I am thrilled to be a part of The Priory Pembroke Academy's Governing Committee. With previous governance roles in two Primary School settings, I bring valuable experience to this position.

I run a successful strategy and marketing business, working with micro and small businesses, and find it particularly fulfilling due to the immediate positive impact my contributions make.

My professional journey also involves inspiring young adults with meaningful careers conversations. Upon relocating to Lincolnshire in 2023, I took on the role of a Careers Enterprise Advisor through the Greater Lincolnshire LEP. I’m deeply passionate about nurturing the potential of young adults, and firmly believe that, with the right support and encouragement, they can thrive.

I am eager to contribute to The Priory Pembroke Academy by providing support and offering constructive challenges to the Academy team, as they play a crucial role in shaping the next generation.

Mrs H Ind

I am starting in my third year as a member of the Local Governing Body (LGB) and I look forward to working with the team. I have lived in Cherry Willingham since 2019 and I now have 2 children at Cherry Primary School. I was thrilled to hear that the school gained 'good' in their recent OFSTED rating, but it is more important to me to know that children are learning in a place where they feel safe and cared for.

Children are all so different and I think that education is about identifying that and nurturing a child to be the best version of themselves. I also think the voice of the parent/carer and child is essential in growing as a school.

As the governor linked to the safeguarding lead, I will work closely with the school to be able to offer assurances around the safeguarding of the students, to the rest of the governing body, and you as parents, staff or students.

I have worked in the NHS, specifically Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT) for a long time now, and I was also a secondary school prior to this.

Miss S Waller

I’m delighted to have been accepted to join Pembroke’s local governing body as a parent governor.  I have two children at the school and they have thrived and achieved with the guidance and support of the school.  Being a member of the local community and living in Cherry Willingham I have watched as the school has grown from strength to strength and am excited to be part of the next chapter in the school’s journey as it develops further under the leadership of our new Headteacher.

Professionally I have worked in the public sector for the last 20 years, the last ten of those being in relation to serving the children and families of Lincolnshire with a strong focus and passion for safeguarding vulnerable children.  I hope that my skills and experience will support the school and that through the high support and high challenge offered by the governing body, Pembroke will continue to deliver fantastic outcomes for all in their learning community.
